om voor de eerste keer op reis te gaan, was het heel chill om eerst voor een lange tijd op een plek te zijn. Ik heb 6 weken vrijwilligerswerk gedaan bij Peru volunteer en heb in die 6 weken veel geleerd en veel plezier gehad. Dus een perfecte start voor nieuwe avonturen in zuid-Amerika.

This is ur sign to go volunteer in Cusco, Peru! I went there for 6 weeks, worked in a kindergarden and an after school project and it was one of the best experiences I could’ve ever done. The owners of the project were super kind and helped me either everything I needed. We met quite a few times so that I felt very welcomed. Also the local people there were super kind so I literally felt like I lived there. In the after school project we could get really creative, organized lessons in English and even created a lesson to learn about dental car. I never knew how much I would experience there because of all the cool trips around Peruvian nature one could do. I would recommend going to Cusco and volunteer there to everyone!!!

I stayed 3 month in Cusco with Peru Volunteer and it was an absolutely amazing experience!
I worked at the primary school as an english teacher and in a Kindergarden. I also helped at the after noon reading project. I loved it all! The kids were all so cute and all the teachers were very nice 🙂
Even though I lived alone I felt like home and made friends with the other volunteers and other Peruvians so that’s I don’t wanna leave!

It is a great way to improve (or learn) your Spanish and to get an inside of the culture and the diverse country. Furthermore I meet the nicest people on the way and made the best friends!

Libia (who taught me Spanish the first week) is THE NICEST person i’ve ever met and she helped me with every problem I had, she is like my Peruvian mom. I was also able to meet Maya who is sooo nice as well and who also helped me in any situation.

I can higly recommend it and I will definitely come back as soon as possible!

My month of volunteering has finally come to an end and I couldn’t be more sad.

The “Peru Volunteer” is a once in a lifetime experience. Between the magical landscapes of Peru, the amazing people and the kindness of Libia, things couldn’t have gone better. And I couldn’t recommend it enough.

We helped in the “libros magicos” which was a moving experience for me. Thankfully Libia’s spanish courses helped us to be able to communicate with the children. Being able to help these children was the most rewarding experience and I couldn’t be happier to have been able to help them even in a small way- as they too, changed my life in a way.

Working in the dog shelter and supporting the ,libros mágicos’ project was a fulfilling experience. The homestay was located central in Cusco, the people were amazing and I was able to leverage my Spanish skills. Thank you, Peru Volunteer!

Voila, c’est fini les 4 semaines a Cusco et donc de volontariat, très triste. Mais ca a été les 4 semaines les plus formidables de ma vie. Des rencontres extraordinaires, des paysages a coupé le souffle. Mais surtout un superbe encadrement au niveau du volontariat et des cours d’espagnol grâce a Peru Volunteer. Aider les enfants a l’école ou durant le projet lecture l’après-midi a été un vrai plaisir pour moi, ils sont adorables et très attachants. Un grand merci a Libia pour tout, surtout pour ces cours d’espagnol qui ont été très bénéfiques.

My experience with Peru Volunteer was really good. It was very memorable and special.

Volunteering with children at the after-school reading program - libros magicos, helping with art classes and assisting at a ceramics workplace were all interesting experiences. Although I was sometimes doubtful about the impact of my help, I feel like my attention and assistance made a difference.

My Spanish teachers were really good and put a lot of effort into preparing fun classes. It improved my Spanish a lot!

Cusco is a beautiful and calm place to stay for a longer period of time. There is so much to see. Out of all places I visited in Peru, this city is one of my favourites!

The coordinators Libia and Thomas are super nice: very accomodating, flexible and kind. Libia helped me organise tours, was there when I needed anything and accompanied me to hospital when I was sick. A great support!

The volunteerhouse is nice - with a shared kitchen to cook and eat with other volunteers. The bedroom is comfortable too!

The other volunteers are really friendly and I am grateful to connect with them.

I am very happy I volunteered with Peru volunteer and I'm very grateful for the experience!

My stay in Cusco with Peru Volunteer was an amazing experience where I learned for my life. I had not only a good time with the other Volunteers in the cozy apartment but also a great time with my students. The kids were thankful and had a lot of fun with all the volunteers. You really feel like changing a little world teaching those wonderful kids. I totally recommend Peru Volunteer and reassure you a great experience where you not only find new friends but also a new home!
